“The Dead Still Eat II”
Performed at Platte Collection Colorado Springs
March 2026
The Dead Still Eat is an improvised communion with inheritance—tender, fraught, and impossible to refuse. Ancestral spirits linger through rituals of hunger, abundance, sacrifice, and survival. At a table set for grief, the work explores excess and restraint, femininity and consumption, asking: what sustains us—and what do we consume in return?
This is the second iteration of “The Dead Still Eat” in hopes of it becoming an annual performance.
